Why it's hard to generalize lessons from the world of therapeutics
Love the illustration. Maybe I’ll read it eventually too.
Interesting piece. Yes, I’m wanting to develop some kind of advanced pacemaker that mimics the effects of exercise. People have long wanted a miracle drug, “exercise-in-pill” form, but I’m wanting to take a different approach. Something like a “Neuralink” device for the heart. Something that takes an average maybe “moderate-risk” for heart disease and improves their cardiovascular and respiratory systems to be that of an elite endurance athlete. We know Neuralink for the brain is coming to make us smarter, why not have something for our hearts and lungs to make us significantly healthier? V02 Max training is the healthiest thing a person can do, yet very few people do this. Just wondering how to go about this to get approval.
